<p>Shift: Full time, Days, 1.0 FTE.</p> <p>Location: This position will be primarily located at The Christ Hospital - Mason - Montgomery office (7450 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040), but will also have travel to other offices.</p> <p>Position Description: This APP will be responsible for covering the Women's Heart Clinic.</p> <p>Coverage includes: OP clinic for Women's Heart patients, to include (but not limited to): Microvascular angina, INOCA, MINOCA, Coronary Artery spasm, etc.</p> <p>Required Skills: Prior Cardiology experience as a Cardiology APP preferred.</p> <p>Job Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) may be an APRN or PA that has been prepared with the appropriate graduate level education and authorized to practice and prescribe as such. May provide general medical and/or surgical care and treatment to patients in a medical setting (office, telemedicine, hospital, Urgent Care, LTC, or Clinic) in collaboration with physician(s) for APP's where dictated. If the APP will be practicing in the hospital setting, the delineation of privileges will also dictate the scope of practice.</p> <p>Education: Graduate from accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.</p> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>DEA license </li><li>BLS and ACLS certified </li></ul> <p>Certified Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care, Adult, or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing or applicable state board. NP must have First Assist certification.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Physician Assistant: Graduate from accredited physician assistant program with a Master's Degree Physician Assistant Certification (verified by the National Commission or the Certification of Physician Assistant - NCCPA. Current, valid license (registration) by the state Medical Board of Ohio or applicable state medical board. Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio.</p>
