<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, optimizing financial processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role includes financial planning, reporting, risk management, and internal controls to maintain the financial health of the company.</p> <p>Objectives</p> <p>Financial Management & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. </li><li>Ensure compliance with US GAAP. </li><li>Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insights for strategic planning. </li><li>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. </li><li>Establish and enforce internal financial policies and controls. </li><li>Ensure adherence to tax laws, corporate regulations, and financial reporting standards. </li><li>Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies for audits and compliance matters. </li><li>Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. </li><li>Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficiency and professional development. </li><li>Support senior management with financial insights for business growth. </li><li>Develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives. </li><li>Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business expansion and investment decisions. </li><li>Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives to maximize profitability. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master's degree is a plus. </li><li>7+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles. </li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. </li><li>Proficiency in in the use of MS Office, ERP systems and financial software (eg. Sage, QuickBooks, Service Titan and Coins). </li><li>Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. </li><li>High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure. </li></ul> <p>Travel</p> <p>Occasional travel is required for this position.</p>
