This is a fully remote role based in North America (East Coast time zone preferred) and reports to the General Counsel. This is an opportunity to join a small and collegial legal team within an innovative, dynamic and global company.</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Remote - this position is 100% Remote anywhere in US/Canada (East Coast preferred)</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Supporting our global Video and Broadband business units </li><li>Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, such as hardware sales, software licensing, SaaS, support and reseller agreements, and inbound licensing and supplier agreements; </li><li>Serving as a trusted, thoughtful and pragmatic business partner to teams and functions across the Company; </li><li>Developing new, and improving existing, agreements and legal processes & practices; </li><li>Providing legal, compliance and policy training to employees; </li></ul> <p>What you will need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience; start-up experience a major plus; </li><li>Experience structuring, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial, licensing and SaaS agreements for technology companies; </li><li>Experience with issues related to hardware products, software, IP and technology licensing, and SaaS businesses; </li><li>Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, creativity and adaptability; </li><li>Enjoys managing and driving deals to closure; </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative, and highly motivated </li><li>Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and concepts; </li><li>Attention to detail, high quality work product and the ability to efficiently manage multiple matters is a must. </li></ul> <p>Pay & Benefits</p> <p>For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $150,000 - $200,000.
