<p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Patient Account Registrar, sometimes referred to as an Admission Representative. The Account Registrar will work in bed management and will have no direct patient contact, playing an important role in the coordination of bed management and direct admits within the facility. Their primary focus is ensuring efficient use of hospital beds and maintaining up-to-date and accurate records in collaboration with staff and physicians. This role is essential for streamlining hospital operations, reducing wait times, and ensuring the optimal use of resources, all while focusing on staff and physician interactions rather than patient-facing duties.</p> <p>Shift's Available: Nights</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time: Friday - Sunday</p> <p>Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00pm to 7:30am</p> <p>Location: Providence Medical Center - Kansas City, KS</p> <p>Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare:</p> <ul> <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance options </li><li>Paid vacation, sick time and holidays </li><li>Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options </li><li>Employer 401K options </li><li>Tuition reimbursement options </li><li>Life, disability, and other insurance options </li><li>Many other amazing benefits </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>coordinate with nursing staff, case managers, and physicians to assign beds for incoming patients based on medical needs, availability, and urgency </li><li>Monitor bed occupancy and status in real-time using hospital information systems </li><li>act as a liaison between various hospital departments to facilitate smooth patient transfers and optimize bed usage </li><li>Update patient data in the hospital's electronic medical record (EMR) system to reflect admissions, discharges, and transfers accurately </li><li>Run reports and analyze bed utilization trends to support hospital operations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
