Apply today to our Director of Strategy & Planning and be a part of the innovation of ideas.</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The Director of Strategy & Planning is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing designated strategic activities as well as providing project management oversight of designated initiatives in support of the mission, vision, and goals of HCA and the Division. In addition to managing his or her own projects, the Director oversees the project management office (PMO) for the TriStar Division, overseeing the deployment of that resource to achieve execution of strategic imperatives. The Director works with Division and Facility management and staff, and outside strategic partners. The Director complies with Division and corporate policy and procedures, efficiently managing activities and resources, and integrates the department services into the Division's overall plan for the delivery of care and service.</p> <p>What you will do in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Develop strategies and tactics, including project plans, for facilities and division to achieve growth and other key pillar goals. </li><li>Take responsibility for successful execution of key growth projects, including capital, market, service line and network integration initiatives. </li><li>Develop and maintain trusting and productive relationships with facility and division executive teams and project teams. </li><li>Supervise PMO function and staff, assigning responsibilities and accountability to PMs in Division, providing excellent service to Division and Corporate stakeholders. </li><li>Recruit and retain PMO staff, help develop their careers at TriStar Division. </li><li>Keep stakeholders advised on project progress, potential issues, obstacles, conflicts, or challenges; Identifies barriers to project success; negotiates through barriers with major stakeholders to keep progress on track. </li><li>Provide support in the design of long- and short-range business goals and objectives, as well as development strategies for the Division and designated hospitals. </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or related field required. </li><li>MBA or MHA required. </li><li>2-5 years of project management experience required. </li><li>2-5 years of hospital and/or multi-facility management experience required. </li><li>2 years of operations, physician relations, and/or business development experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the Worlds Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
