This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world!</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Fleet Facility Designer with 0-4 years of experience to join our growing Maintenance Facility Consultant team in Baltimore, Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to work at a national level on high-impact projects that support municipal public works and transit systems.</p> <p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Fleet Facility Planner to assist in developing details and specifications for various types of maintenance equipment, including paint booths, vehicle washers, and vehicle lifts. The Fleet Facility Planner will work with Architects and Engineers to coordinate equipment utilities and physical requirements within new and renovated buildings. Facility types include vehicle maintenance, fuel operations, roads maintenance, and process operations for municipal and transportation agencies, including bus and rail. The Fleet Facility Planner's responsibilities include engaging with equipment vendors for design coordination and specifications, putting together construction documents for bidding, and submittal reviews during construction.</p> <p>To be successful as a Maintenance Facility Planner you should be proactive in contacting vendors, understanding design parameters from the facility operators, and translating that information to system needs and equipment requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing operational processes and related information. </li><li>Participate in project meetings, presentations, and public engagement efforts as needed. </li><li>Developing design and equipment layouts in cooperation with management and user personnel. </li><li>Preparing material and equipment lists. </li><li>Develop design concepts and layouts for vehicle maintenance shops, storage buildings, wash bays, fueling systems, and administrative spaces. </li><li>Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and transportation planners. </li><li>Prepare construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. </li><li>Reviewing equipment submittals during construction </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field REQUIRED. </li><li>0-4 years of relevant work experience with vehicle-related operations, processes, and standards. </li><li>Strong understanding of operational workflows, equipment needs, and industry standards for fleet facilities. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and BIM - required </li><li>Proficiency in Autocad/Autoturn Vehicle Tracking Software preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to develop multiple projects and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
