Yes If Temporary, enter End Date: 10/01/2026 Position Summary</p> <p>The Program Supervisor will be be responsible for organizing, overseeing aquatic programming at SUNY Cortland. Experience Cortland dives deep into the region's offerings </li></ul> <p>Major Responsibilities</p> <p>Organizing, supervising, recruiting for participants, staff for programs. Opening, closing and supervising facilities that are being used for programming. Administrative work (tracking of participants and course records) as needed.</p> <p>Functional and Supervisory Relationships</p> <p>The individuals hired will report directly to the head swimming and diving coach, who is administering the grant. Swim instructors, lifeguards will report directly to these supervisors as well.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current certification as recognized by New York State in Lifeguarding and CPR/AED. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years experience as a lifeguard, and/or water safety educator. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Lifeguard Instructor certification </li><li>Water safety educator certification as recognized by New York State. </li><li>Previous supervisory experience of aquatic programs. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities About the University EEO Statement</p> <p>The State University of New York at Cortland is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity/Americans with Disabilities Act (AA/EEO/ADA) employer.
