This role will ensure complex business requests will be translated into well-articulated technical specifications and working foundational templates for CDO development team members to deliver data solutions to departments. The Sr. Data Solutions Partner will serve as the final QA approver and control to release all CDO developed solutions to assigned stakeholders for UAT testing. The Data Solutions Partner will manage CDO solution delivery for assigned HCA functions (e.g., Operations, Sales, Risk).</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ol> <li>Technical Specifications </li></ol> <ul> <li>Draft and record translated technical specification from business requests. </li><li>Ensure intake needs are articulated by the business requestors and translated into technical specifications that will serve as solution blueprints for assigned developers. </li><li>Review digital insight catalog to determine applicable solutions include augmenting existing reports or developing new reporting. </li><li>Communicate requirements and expectations to support CDO teams. </li><li>Lead recurring priority alignment discussions to ensure the CDO is always addressing the critical business needs. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Visualization Development and Enhancement </li></ol> <ul> <li>Provide full or partial development support for complex visualization and reporting initiatives. </li><li>Develop working template for highly complex visualizations that align with business identified need. </li><li>Conduct code walkthrough of developed content for additional coaching and team member growth support. </li><li>Provide initial architectural support to the CDO teams for solution development. </li><li>Leverage business and technical knowledge to develop working data models as a basis for building complex visualizations or refined production data processes. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>QA Testing </li></ol> <ul> <li>Provide QA testing support for the release of data solutions back to the Business.Conduct KSOX compliant Quality Assurance testing and draft supporting documentation to ensure solution developed aligns with identified business need. </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Technical SME </li></ol> <ul> <li>Serve as a business domain/technical SME to CDO and business teams to promote end to end visibility and collective understanding. </li><li>Actively participate in high priority project requirements discussion to serve as additional business/data domain expert. </li><li>Actively participate in CDO developer code reviews of complex solutions to provide constructive feedback. </li><li>Actively participate in scrum meetings and activities across CDO development teams. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a reporting/analytics function within the auto finance industry. </li><li>Experience with Python and/or SQL. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. </li><li>Proven ability to effectively engage business leaders in problem solving across multiple business units. </li><li>Ability to persuade, guide, and build cross-functional support behind recommended solutions. </li><li>Strong research, analytic, and project management skills. </li><li>Ability to lead effectively in a cross-functional structure. </li><li>Tableau or other similar data visualization/Business Intelligence (BI) tool. </li><li>Proficiency in data query and management languages such as SQL or Python. </li><li>Exposure to Cloud based data environments such as Amazon Redshift. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to explain complex systems and data succinctly. </li><li>Knowledge of typical finance industry concepts and metrics are a plus. </li><li>Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills including effectively presenting to large audiences. </li><li>Experience developing data & reporting process automation. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.</p> <p>The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors.
