<p>The Ithaca College Department of Writing invites applications for part-time lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. Primarily, we seek candidates with a commitment to inclusive excellence and experience teaching academic writing. We also seek candidates with experience teaching fiction, and/or poetry.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MFA or Ph.D. in appropriate degree in related field. (ABDs with significant undergraduate teaching experience will be considered.) </li></ul> <p>Contributions to Inclusive Excellence:</p> <p>Ithaca College is committed to building a diverse academic community and encourages members of underrepresented groups to apply. Part-time or adjunct bargaining unit employees are all part-time faculty employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca, New York campus including but not limited to faculty in the titles of Lecturer or Adjunct. Successful candidates will be required to meet with union leadership prior to their first day.</p> <p>Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.</p> <p>Hiring rate: $1,999.27 per credit hour.</p>
