You will be part of a team while also maintaining an independent role with a focus on ownership and organization throughout the entire service order process.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage your personal WIP (Work in Progress) Service Orders from generation through completion. </li><li>Be a customer advocate while on your field service visits </li><li>Read and interpret Control, Mechanical, Electrical drawings and circuit diagrams as needed </li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose BMS systems and networks to automate building systems. </li><li>Program and commission BMS systems. </li><li>Replace and/or repair building automation control equipment and devices. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5-6 years of experience preferred but not required. </li><li>LEB preferred but not required </li><li>Experience in the building controls automation industry preferred but not required. </li><li>Experience in the light commercial / Residential HVAC industry preferred but not required. </li><li>Tech-Savvy with computers. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office. </li><li>Commercial/construction service experience a plus. </li><li>Class C driver's license and clean driver's record. </li></ul> <p>While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.</p> <p>GDI Ainsworth is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
