<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for leading and guiding the development and operations of finance/property accounting. The Director of Finance will be responsible for directing all financial activity for Horseshoe Baltimore including the execution of operating and business plans, and the implementation of Caesars accounting policies and practices used to prepare accurate financial reporting.</p> <p>JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Manages all employees and processes in Finance, Accounting, Cashier and Count Room. </li><li>Serves as a member of the Senior Management Team </li><li>Responsible for selecting, training, evaluation, and supervision of overall Casino Finance & Accounting functions. </li><li>Works with the GM and Property Leadership team to ensure strict compliance with the State regulatory rules and the Gaming Act. </li><li>Collaborate with the CFO of Caesars Entertainment, to ensure the accuracy of the financial reporting of the property and the accuracy of the accounting records. </li><li>Directs the forecasting and preparation of Casino accounting reports, budgets, MRO, etc. </li><li>Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service. </li><li>Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies. </li><li>Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or business - MBA or CPA preferred </li><li>5+ years of experience in financial or business operations - Casino Experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations as well as internal controls, policies, and procedures. </li><li>Ability to obtain Maryland Gaming License. </li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>$130,000 to $160,000 </li><li>Bonus Incentives </li><li>Stock Options </li><li>Bi-Weekly Pay Dates </li><li>FTO, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance </li></ul>
