Come grow with us!</p> <p>Your Objective: Make all scheduled deliveries in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner following documented processes and procedures.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Load the appropriate vehicle with goods and unload them at each delivery location. </li><li>Ensure all related paperwork is completed and appropriately distributed. </li><li>Always follow safety guidelines and processes. </li><li>Ensure that any vehicle you use is in proper, safe working order. </li><li>Ensure that bending, lifting, climbing in/out of vehicles, etc., is done safely. </li><li>Use all vehicles and equipment in a safe manner in compliance with traffic and other laws. </li><li>Load vehicle(s) for the following days' deliveries as required, following documented processes and procedures. </li><li>Route deliveries as required, following documented processes and procedures. </li><li>Contact customers regarding their estimated delivery time. o Notify company managers of following day's delivery schedule. </li><li>Ensure that any vehicle you use is left clean ready for the next day's activities. </li><li>Ensure there is a sufficiently-full tank of gas; follow documented processes and procedures for billing. </li><li>Sweep truck(s) after deliveries. o Remove any trash from vehicle(s). </li><li>Provide customer service. </li><li>Respect customer's homes. </li><li>While at a customer's home, always be courteous and refer customers to appropriate salespeople as needed. </li><li>Acknowledge customers in the store. </li><li>Assist customers in the store by answering questions, directing them, and/or finding appropriate sales help. </li><li>Immediate start. </li><li>15 to 20 hours through mid-September. Then hours increase from 20 to 40 hours mid-September through end of November. </li><li>Early morning starts (7am) earlier availability a plus. </li><li>Weekends not required but availability a plus. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to juggle multiple tasks. </li><li>Computer literate, including Microsoft Office products. </li><li>Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, in person and on the telephone. </li><li>Ability to operate company vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, safely and effectively. </li><li>Able to sit and drive a vehicle for a full shift most days. </li><li>Frequent physical activity required, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, squeezing, and grasping. </li><li>Must be able to consistently lift 25-40 lbs. independently. </li><li>Must be able to push/pull wheeled carts of 400 lbs. consistently. </li><li>Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment such as box trucks, flatbed trucks, forklifts, and 4-wheel electric cart stock chasers. </li></ul>
