<p>Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a six week, temporary project in Vancouver, WA.The person in this position will support the start-up and commission of a new facility. The ideal candidate is flexible, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a strong background in general construction or facilities work. This project will include light demolition, furniture and fixture relocation, installation, decomission, and general site pre, clean-up, and maintenance.</p> <p>Pay: $28-$35/hr</p> <p>Facilities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform light demolition and remove fixtures such as racking, shelving, signage, shelving bracing, and concrete anchors.</p> </li><li> <p>Assemble furniture and equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Mount and install shelves, TVs, and artwork</p> </li><li> <p>Salvage and remove light infrastructure, including cabinetry, wires, and leftover materials</p> </li><li> <p>Safely operate hand and power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Bracing and anchoring racks, lockers, cabinets, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Facilities Maintenance Technician Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven experience with general construction, facility turnover, or light demolition</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in precision installation and deconstruction of shelving, furniture, and fixtures</p> </li><li> <p>Able to lift and move heavy objects</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and cleanliness</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided; insurance approval required)</p> </li><li> <p>Safety mindset with knowledge of safe work programs (Job Hazard Assessment, LOTO, Forklift, Scissor lift operations, elevated work)</p> </li><li> <p>Forklift certification preferred but not required</p> </li><li> <p>Must supply personal tools (preferred)</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$28-$35/hr</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) with match</p> </li><li> <p>Paid sick leave</p> </li><li> <p>Medical insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Paid holidays</p> </li></ul> <p>Project Details:</p> <ul> <li>Duration: 6 weeks, starting the week of May 20th </li></ul>
