The successful candidate will work on project support as assigned by Engineers in the PD group.</p> <p>Position is full-time during the summer.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>% OF TIME</p> <p>Training will be given to accomplish the following:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on support of component testing and data collection. </li><li>Drafting support using NX 3D/2D system </li><li>Engineering support work for projects as assigned </li><li>Release of drawings / documents through SAP & Teamcenter ERP systems </li></ul> <p>SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards </li><li>Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide ESG & EHS Management systems, which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of freshman year of BSc Mechanical Engineering degree. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. </li><li>Sound computer skills in Word and Excel. </li><li>Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems </li><li>An Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial. </li></ul> <p>What we offer you</p> <p>Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
