Come join the DMVA team, apply today!</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF WORK</p> <p>Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. You will complete a variety of tasks, such as distributing meals, transporting residents, and engaging in social activities. You will also be responsible for changing linens, cleaning medical equipment, and responding to requests for snacks and water. Your assistance and friendly conversations with residents will positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.</p> <p>This position is a starting step to a Nurse Aide position. Upon completion of an 8-hour training course and successfully passing the competency exam, the 16 hour classroom course, and an 80 hour orientation program you will be eligible for promotion to a Nurse Aide position</p> <p>Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.</p> <p>Work Schedule and Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Full-time employment, 40 hours per week </li><li>Work hours are 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM), with a 30-minute lunch.
