<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Westbrook Public Schools</p> <p>Elementary Classroom Teacher- Kindergarten</p> <p>(Hours and Pay Rate Based on WEA Agreement Contract)</p> <p>Westbrook Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and compassionate full-time elementary classroom teacher to join our elementary school team for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Providing differentiated instruction for students in Kindergarten in all subject areas </li><li>Working with grade-level teams in a collaborative, MTSS model </li><li>Well-versed in teaching Literacy and Math to young students </li><li>Experience with teaching Social Emotional Learning lessons and Morning Meeting desirable </li><li>Ensuring safety of students at all times </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Experience in an elementary setting is required.</p> <p>Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.</p> <p>Required Connecticut Certifications:</p> <p>Elementary PK-6 (305);</p> <p>Integrated Early Childhood/Special Education Birth to K (112); or comparable</p> <p>All applicants must complete an electronic application via Applitrack: www.westbrookctschools.org.
