<p>Job Title: Litigation Paralegal</p> <p>Location: Portland, Oregon</p> <p>Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)</p> <p>Salary: $115,000-$125,000</p> <p>Employment Type: Direct Hire</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy and collaborative litigation team in their Portland, Oregon office. This role will handle a variety of complex matters including labor and employment litigation, commercial litigation, retail disputes, and class action matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing high-level litigation work from case inception through trial preparation.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling large caseloads, supporting multiple attorneys, and working independently while maintaining strong communication across internal teams, clients, outside counsel, and vendors.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage large and complex litigation caseloads, including labor and employment, commercial litigation, and class action matters </li><li>Assist with all phases of litigation including case organization, discovery, fact gathering, and legal research </li><li>Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents for attorney review </li><li>Prepare, file, and serve court documents in state and federal courts, both electronically and manually </li><li>Coordinate trial preparation, including hearings, arbitrations, depositions, and trial support </li><li>Compile, review, and summarize case materials, records, and discovery documents </li><li>Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and docketing requirements in compliance with court rules </li><li>Communicate with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, outside vendors, and other parties throughout the litigation process </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred </li><li>Minimum of 7 years of law firm experience as a Litigation Paralegal </li><li>Strong experience supporting complex litigation matters in a law firm environment </li><li>Class action litigation experience highly preferred </li><li>Deep knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and e-filing requirements </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and document management systems </li><li>Experience with Relativity, NetDocuments, and docketing software such as CourtAlert is highly preferred </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high-volume workloads independently </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage through firm-sponsored plans </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Account (HSA) options for eligible employees </li><li>Employer-paid basic life insurance, with optional supplemental life insurance available for employees and dependents </li><li>Short-term and long-term disability coverage </li><li>Up to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or placement of a child </li><li>Paid time off starting at 19 days annually, increasing with tenure, plus unlimited tracked sick time and 10 paid holidays </li><li>Immediate eligibility for 401(k) participation with pre-tax, Roth, and after-tax contribution options </li></ul> <p>Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year</p> <p>Search managed by: Keaton Anderson</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>Military connected talent encouraged to apply</p> <p>To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy</p> <p>The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:</p> <ul> <li>The California Fair Chance Act </li><li>Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance </li><li>Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers </li><li>San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance </li></ul> <p>Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
