<p>Overview</p> <p>Kimley-Horn's is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join the Portland, Oregon (OR) office's MEP team!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze and produce deliverables for our clients. </li><li>Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' requirements for the future built environment. </li><li>Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards. </li><li>Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project tasks as required, such as dry-mechanical, wet-mechanical, plumbing/process systems. Tasks could include developing floor plans, flow diagrams, schedules, details and calculations such as pump head calculations, pipe sizing and distribution, and selection of equipment, etc. </li><li>Support our collaboration of multi-discipline Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/process piping, Instrumentation & Controls, Telecom/Technology team specifically working on large scale Building Systems engineering designs. </li><li>Project type will vary but may include Advanced Technology, Industrial, Micro-electronics, Mission Critical, Hospitals, Central Utility Plants and more </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience in a similar mechanical engineering role </li><li>An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering </li><li>EIT/EI certification or have the ability to obtain certification </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication </li><li>Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients </li><li>Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic </li><li>Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines </li><li>Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment </li><li>Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals </li><li>Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD, and exposure to Pipeflo software </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $90,000 - $135,000</p> <p>Why Kimley-Horn?</p> <p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
