<p>Department</p> <p>INFORMATION SYSTEMS - 108231</p> <p>Worker Sub Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Pay Grade</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The IS Project Manager will support and develop IS Project Management Office. This includes the continued development of a complete IS Project Management System to be used for all IS projects. Manage large, complex implementation projects for IS involving financial, enterprise, or clinical applications.</p> <p>Specific duties may include, but not limited to:</p> <p>Support and revise standardized project management process for all projects. This includes development, training, and implementation of the process.</p> <p>Follows project methodology defined by the Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).</p> <p>Leverages knowledge of project management for benefit of the PMO. This includes conducting project management training as needed.</p> <p>Oversees multiple projects or individual larger projects. Coordinates the activities of the team members to successfully implement the project.</p> <p>Leads teams to evaluate, select and implement solutions with consideration for users' unique needs and work environments.</p> <p>Identifies appropriate resources needed, assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, and develops project schedules in coordination with management.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Ind Engineering, Healthcare Admin or related field required.</p> <p>Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Ind Engineering, Healthcare Admin or related field preferred.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Project management experience required.</p> <p>Software implementation and support experience preferred.</p> <p>Healthcare experience preferred.</p> <p>Certification & Licensure</p> <p>PMP certification is required within 18 months of hire date.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Strong organizational and analytical skills required.
