<p>In search for an outcome-oriented planner and problem solver with great people skills and passion for great customer service.</p> <p>We're searching for an Order Department (OD) Supervisor to support the daily activities of our Order Department-an exceptionally important business area with high standards of quality, service, accuracy and efficiency. The OD Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a subset of the department. Responsibilities for this position include staffing, training, scheduling, and assigning workload to the team. The OD Supervisor is accountable for meeting the operational goals of the department and will help define the processes, procedures, and systems to support and sustain long-term growth.</p> <p>Please note that this position is open to internal candidates only. External candidates who apply will not be considered for this role.</p> <p>A day in the office looks like this:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of areas of responsibilities </li><li>Instructs, orients, motivates, and otherwise assists employees so that production and quality objectives are achieved </li><li>Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining specific work assignments </li><li>Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in an efficient manner </li><li>Maintains and supervises company productivity and quality standards per specifications </li><li>Jumps into time-sensitive projects wherever needed </li><li>Shows flexibility and a willingness to learn </li><li>Treats internal and external customers like gold </li></ul> <p>Got the skills and experience? Here's what we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of experience in a leadership role </li><li>2+ years of experience in an Order Department, Call Center or Customer Service role preferred </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet, work independently, make decisions, and take appropriate actions </li><li>Skill at managing and motivating a team of individuals with differing skill levels to enable them to achieve performance goals and quality standards </li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting </li></ul> <p>And here's our end of the bargain!</p> <p>At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.</p> <p>For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $53,500 - $71,000 depending on relevant experience & skillset.</p> <p>This range is indicative of projected hiring range.
