The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>1+ years' patient care experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) </li><li>Hospital experience. </li></ul> <p>Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.</p>
