As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others </li><li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems </li><li>Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture </li><li>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies </li><li>Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions </li><li>Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience </li><li>Advanced proficiency in: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, Terraform </li><li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using cloud services and automation tools. </li><li>Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. </li><li>Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance, and proactively address issues. </li><li>Work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes and improve collaboration. </li><li>Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error. </li><li>Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of infrastructure and software development. </li><li>Provide support for production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. </li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. </li></ul>
