<p>School of Science, Technology and Health</p> <p>Biola University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank to participate in the B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology</p> <p>Responsibilities: This position consists of a 9-unit academic load with a 3 unit course release for activities related to accreditation and research and mentoring at the graduate level per semester beginning in the Fall of 2025. This position will provide students with academic advising and guidance, serve on various campus committees, and participate in departmental activities. ASHA certification and California state licensure required. Preference will also be given to candidates with research experience and publication record.</p> <p>Ph.D., SLP.D., or ED.D. in communication sciences and disorders or related fields required. ABD for terminal degree will be considered. The candidate must possess a commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment, with a dedication to outstanding teaching, scholarship, and service. Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is essential, along with a strong Christian commitment and interest in the integration of faith with learning.</p> <p>Biola University is an evangelical Christian university where faculty endorse a university statement of Christian faith and community values, and are committed to the integration of faith and learning.
