<p>As a welder you are responsible for cutting and joining mild or stainless steel, and other materials, and equipment operation for assembly of structures with precision.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Joins, fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. </li><li>Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. </li><li>Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. </li><li>Perform regular and basic preventative maintenance checks and tasks. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, or completion of 2 Year Welding Certification School </li><li>Knowledge of commonly used welding techniques, i.e., Tig, Mig </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manual. </li><li>Basic math skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, following all safety rules and procedures. </li><li>Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. </li><li>Good visual acuity </li><li>Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently. </li></ul> <p>The Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision benefits the first day of the month after start </li><li>Market-leading 401(k) program with company match </li><li>10 paid holidays per year and PTO accrual </li><li>Paid Sick Leave </li><li>Paid Parental Leave </li><li>100% tuition reimbursement </li><li>Career development and advancement opportunities </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
