<p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>The Development Accountant will support the East division of the company and perform a range of general financial reporting and accounting duties related to multifamily development.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the monthly financial close process and prepare and input journal entries. </li><li>Prepare JV financial statements and variance analysis. </li><li>Prepare monthly loan draw packages and review construction pay applications. </li><li>Assist in the monthly budget reviews with the development team and update job cost budget summary schedules. </li><li>Perform balance sheet account analysis and other analytical procedures as needed. </li><li>Review expense reports for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Work closely with the Development team and Accounts Payable to organize, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment. </li><li>Prepare remote bank deposits. </li><li>Manage cash balance on bank accounts and prepare wire transfer requests. </li><li>Assist in the compliance of Accounting and Accounts Payable policy and procedures. </li><li>Update, reconcile, and maintain project budgets. </li><li>Perform ad hoc accounting assignments as requested by management. </li><li>Cross train for position(s) within the division organizational structure from time to time, as required by the division. </li></ul> <p>General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from $65,000 - $75,000 annualized, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations. </li><li>This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company's sole discretion. </li><li>This position will be eligible for company benefits in accordance with Company policy. Finger dexterity is necessary.</p>
