<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Warehouse and Driver Technician (Class C Non-CDL) is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and any projects as assigned. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse and Driver Technician is shipping/receiving of orders, quality control, inventory control and other warehouse related logistics. Additionally, this position involves operating company vehicles requiring a CDL Class C license for transportation and delivery tasks. The Warehouse and Driver Technician will report to the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations or the Manager, Warehouse Operations.</p> <p>Key Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Inbound/Outbound Order Processing</p> <ul> <li>Accurately receive, ship and label product, pick-up product from inventoried locations and pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery to venues and/or other warehouses </li><li>Perform basic quality control (QC) procedures, presentation of equipment and inventory control </li></ul> <p>Logistics and Transportation:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and process shipments to ship small parcel, LTL and via internal fleet </li><li>Operate industrial powered forklifts including (i.e., Sit-down, reach, stock picker, and powered pallet jack). </li><li>Operate company vehicles require a Non-CDL Class C license for the delivery and transportation of goods. </li><li>Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to the designated locations. </li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. </li></ul> <p>Safety:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily checklists on forklifts and other equipment within the warehouse </li><li>Participate in safety team initiatives </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation regulations while operating vehicles. </li></ul> <p>Warehouse Housekeeping:</p> <ul> <li>Clean and maintain a safe work area </li><li>Maintain equipment as necessary </li></ul> <p>Customer Service:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the highest standards of service while maintaining operation efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments </li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of equipment </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma/GED </li><li>1 to 3 years' experience in warehouse environment </li><li>Valid CDL Class C driver's license with a clean driving record. </li><li>Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions </li><li>Strong communication skills with other team members, site leadership team and internal and external customers </li><li>Organizational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment </li><li>Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office </li><li>Experience using an RF based WMS system (preferred) </li><li>Experience operating industrial forklift equipment </li><li>Experience with DOT regulations and telematics electronic ELD logs (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Competency Group</p> <p>Deliver World Class Service</p> <ul> <li>Hospitality </li><li>Ownership </li></ul> <p>Do The Right Thing</p> <ul> <li>Instills Trust </li><li>Safety Conscious </li></ul> <p>Drive Results</p> <ul> <li>Action Oriented </li></ul> <p>See The Big Picture</p> <ul> <li>Tech Savvy </li></ul> <p>Value People</p> <ul> <li>Communicates Effectively </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Warehouse and Driver Environment</p> <p>Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in both warehouse and driving environments and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. When performing driving duties, team members will be exposed to various weather conditions and road environments. They are expected to conduct deliveries and transportation tasks safely and efficiently. Drivers must follow all traffic laws and regulations and ensure vehicles are maintained in good working conditions. This role may require long periods of sitting while driving, as well as loading and unloading materials, which involves physical activity.
