<p>The White Hall School District is seeking a High School Head Boys Basketball Coach and Health/Physical Education Teacher for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Teacher/Coach shall be under the direction of the superintendent and athletic director and immediately responsible to the building principal of their school for executing the policies of the local school board and the policies of the state board of education as they relate to the function of the school, the classroom, and the immediate contact with students and parents. The teacher/coach should facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district district-approved curriculum. The teacher/coach specific responsibilities shall be:</p> <ol> <li>To direct and evaluate students' learning experiences in both curricular and extracurricular activities. </li><li>To provide guidance that will promote the welfare and proper educational development of the students. </li><li>To seek the professional aid of the school principal and athletic director. </li><li>To maintain a cordial and workable relationships with parents. </li><li>To administer in a professional manner the classroom and its program. </li><li>To provide for the care and protection of school property. </li><li>To participate in faculty meetings. </li><li>To cooperate with and participate in the planning and evaluation of the school program. </li><li>To maintain a cordial and workable relationship with colleagues. </li><li>To perform other duties as assigned by the principal. </li><li>Manage and supervise athletic activities and practice sessions to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and good sportsmanship. </li><li>Additional coaching duties may apply. </li></ol>
