<p>Job#: 3032907</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Senior Angular Engineer</p> <p>Location: Brooklyn, Ohio (Hybrid)</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Duration: 6 month contract w/extension</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, build, and maintain large-scale digital banking applications. This role focuses on delivering and evolving Angular-based and ReactJS-based web applications within a regulated financial environment, with close collaboration across product, backend, QA, security, and operations teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced frontend engineer who is comfortable working in complex enterprise codebases and takes ownership from feature development through production support.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain Angular-based single-page applications supporting core digital banking capabilities. </li><li>Build reusable, maintainable UI components using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. </li><li>Incrementally modernize existing frontend architectures while maintaining backward compatibility and system stability. </li><li>Implement entitlement and role-driven UI behavior, including conditional rendering and feature gating. </li><li>Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services using JSON-based contracts. </li><li>Collaborate with backend teams to ensure API contracts, error handling, and data models support resilient frontend experiences. </li><li>Utilize Node.js for frontend-adjacent or backend-for-frontend use cases when applicable. </li><li>Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma. </li><li>Participate in defect triage, performance tuning, and production issue resolution. </li><li>Support release activities including build generation, validation, and QA coordination. </li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with product, UX, QA, and platform teams. </li><li>Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior engineers. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience: 5+ years of frontend development experience in enterprise environments. Experience working in financial services, digital banking, payments, or other regulated industries is required.</p> <p>Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Angular (AngularJS through Angular 10+). Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Flexbox. Working knowledge of Node.js, npm, and nvm. Experience integrating with REST APIs and working from API specifications. Experience with modular or micro-frontend architectures. Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, Vite, Rollup, or Parcel. Experience with frontend unit testing frameworks like Jasmine or Karma.
