<p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>WEEKEND ONLY </li><li>Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. </li><li>Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. </li><li>Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. </li><li>Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. </li><li>Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. </li></ul> <p>Unit Overview:</p> <p>R3E-Internal Medicine Unit- 42 bed Adult Med/Surg unit that provides care to adult and geriatric medical patients. R3E works closely with the Hospitalist physicians and the Hildreth Teaching Service Residents.
