<p>Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Principal Systems Analyst will be leading and contributing to new product technical visioning and high quality solutions </li><li>Understanding and contributing to scalable technical solutions </li><li>Examination and analysis of existing IT systems and business models to identify requirements, impacts and dependencies </li><li>Assistance in defining scope and work sequencing based on analysis of requirements of new and existing systems </li><li>Writing user stories which include concise and clear system requirements that will be used to implement any of the following: API creation/updates, new data stores/updates to existing data stores and user interfaces, UI design/enhancement </li><li>Producing use case documents and functional solutions to achieve project goals </li><li>The Principal Systems Analyst will be developing subject matter expertise for the product area and broader domain </li><li>Participation in the development and review of test plans, including end-to-end strategies </li><li>Participation in and leading various initiatives in support of evolving and growing the Technical Chapter and Chapter Area* Bachelor's degree required; Technology-related field preferred </li><li>5-7+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services preferred </li><li>Good experience in data analysis, data modelling and hands on experience in Oracle/Postgres/other relational databases </li><li>Experience in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics preferred </li><li>Experience in designing, managing, and troubleshooting batch processing systems for large-scale data workflows across cloud-based and on-prem environments </li><li>Experience with systems development methodologies and formal documentation processes, Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience is required </li><li>Knowledge of API Development & Testing, AWS (Cloud) Implementation, Data Design is required and UI Design and Workflow/Process Automation is strongly preferred </li><li>Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work in a highly-matrixed environment, involving multiple partners, technical groups, COEs, squads, product areas and domains </li><li>Experience working in an environment with multiple applications and integrations </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work across multi-functional teams </li><li>Technical problem solver, who can work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, engaging, collaborating and supporting capabilities across-product areas and domains </li><li>Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and become a contributor to a highly functioning team </li><li>Demonstrable understanding of the financial services industry, attained through training and application experience </li><li>Good interpersonal skills including negotiation, communication, leadership and influence </li><li>Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment </li></ul>
