Join DODD as a Roving Locksmith, supporting 8 Developmental Centers across Ohio and helping ensure safe, secure environments for individuals and staff.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Install, repair, & maintain locks, door hardware, & access control systems </li><li>Perform key cutting, re-keying, & master key system management </li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical & electronic locking systems </li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance & facility inspections </li><li>Respond to urgent lockouts, repairs, & security needs </li><li>Support facility upgrades, renovations, & security improvements </li><li>Maintain key control records, inventory, & compliance documentation </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with mechanical & electronic locking systems </li><li>Knowledge of master key systems & access control processes </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, repair, & maintain security hardware </li><li>Strong organizational & recordkeeping skills </li><li>Ability to work independently across multiple locations </li><li>Valid driver's license & ability to travel statewide </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>4-day work week (4 x 10-hour shifts) </li><li>Schedule may vary based on facility needs </li><li>Flexibility required for travel & operational demands </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>This is a statewide roving position supporting all 8 DODD Developmental Centers:</p> <ul> <li>Frequent statewide travel to assigned facilities is required </li><li>Exposure to energized electrical equipment </li><li>Indoor & outdoor work environments </li><li>Overtime, call-back, or emergency response may be required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>12 months of training or 12 months of experience in locksmithing </li><li>3 months of training or 3 months of experience in inventory control </li><li>Or equivalent Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Trades</p>
