This role focuses on rack-level deployment, cabling, switch configuration support, and troubleshooting connectivity for GPU clusters and storage systems.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Rack & stack network switches (10G/25G/100G/200G/400G Ethernet) </li><li>Install and label fiber (QSFP, OSFP, DAC/AOC) </li><li>Configure switch ports (VLAN, trunk, access mode) </li><li>Support spine-leaf network deployments </li><li>Troubleshoot Layer 1-Layer 3 connectivity issues </li><li>Perform link validation (iperf, ping, basic throughput testing) </li><li>Support MLAG / LACP configuration under guidance </li><li>Replace failed optics, cables, or line cards </li><li>Monitor network health dashboards </li><li>Document lab topology and port mappings </li><li>Support GPU server connectivity and NIC validation </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required Skills (Basic-Intermediate):</p> </li><li> <p>2-4 years hands-on data center networking and network operations experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of:</p> </li><li> <p>TCP/IP</p> </li><li> <p>VLANs</p> </li><li> <p>Subnetting</p> </li><li> <p>Basic routing concepts</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Cisco / Arista / similar switches</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working in lab / high-density rack environments</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Linux CLI familiarity</p> </li><li> <p>Basic VPN understanding is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to high-speed Ethernet (100G+) is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of network topologies is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of firewall & security is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of GPU clusters is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>CCNA or similar network/security certification is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Education: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong project management skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$86,000 - $100,000</p> <p>The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
