<p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and heat </li><li>Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate without damage or injury </li><li>Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from the aircraft and airport </li><li>Protect baggage and other equipment from damage, loss, and weather conditions </li><li>Drive and operate heavy ground equipment, such as tugs, cargo carts, service trucks, and belt loaders </li><li>Assist with record-keeping and documentation to ensure the correct routing of baggage </li><li>Load and unload baggage: </li><li>Sort and stack baggage on specified carts, conveyors, or screening machines </li><li>Safely transport baggage on carts in specified areas </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Stable job history </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Physically able to perform frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, and grasping actions. </li><li>May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends. </li><li>Repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more </li></ul>
