<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Are you seeking a warehouse position that provides a set schedule, benefits, and competitive pay? ?Look no further! CrossCountry is hiring Freight Handlers in your area. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, and/or handcart. Our Freight Handlers are properly trained and certified to operate safety sensitive equipment efficiently.</p> <p>Pay: $75,000-$85,000/year - Depends on Experience, Knowledge of the Transportation Industry</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that dock operations are performed safely and efficiently, overseeing and assisting with the loading and unloading of freight </li><li>Supervise drivers, oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions </li><li>Conducts weekly and/or daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and address any issues </li><li>Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles </li><li>Monitors misrouted and damaged shipments to determine root cause and implement corrective action. </li><li>Work with customers to resolve freight issues </li><li>Responsible for overseeing the quality handling of paperwork </li><li>Able to carry out the job duties of positions supervised to ensure customer service expectations are met </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Two years supervisory and transportation experience </li><li>Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills </li><li>Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry </li><li>Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred </li><li>At least 21 years of age </li><li></li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>PTO, Paid Holidays, Volunteer Time Off, Wellness Time Off </li><li>401k Retirement Plan </li><li>Biweekly Pay </li></ul> <p>CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is an exceptional company with a mission to achieve universal prosperity with our Customers, Company, Team Members, & Communities.
