<p>MANHATTAN PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT</p> <p>JOB TITLE:</p> <p>High School Business Teacher - 0.5 to 1.0 FTE, temporary position through June 4, 2025</p> <p> </p> <p>SALARY RANGE:</p> <p>$41,613 - $57,436 annual contract prorated for the remainder of the school year and FTE and dependent on placement on the salary schedule.</p> <p> </p> <p>POSTING DATE: </p> <p>12/09/2025</p> <p> </p> <p>START DATE:</p> <p>01/23/2026</p> <p> </p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Teacher with a Montana Business Education 5-12 endorsement to teach business classes in accordance with the curriculum guidelines of the District and state requirements at the high school level of education. This position includes advisor duties for the extra-curricular club, Business Professionals of America, as well as the potential for one period of District tech support, depending on FTE.</p> <p> </p> <p>DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Successful applicants will be expected to follow the Standards of the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI), write lesson plans that cover and assess those standards, be appropriately licensed with a secondary business education 5-12 endorsement in accordance with state statutes and Board of Public Education rules, and have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, staff, and the community.</p> <p> </p> <p>REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:</p> <p>Reports to the High School Building Principal.</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:</p> <ul> <li>This position is for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year only, with the opportunity to apply for the 2026-27 school year in the Spring. </li><li>Contract is based on a 166-day school calendar and a 4-day school week and will be prorated for the 2025-26 school year based on remaining days and FTE. </li><li>Position qualifies for insurance and retirement benefits. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Collective gaining agreement is available at school website, https://www.rollontigers.org/</p> <p>CLOSING DATE:</p> <p>Open Until Filled</p> <p>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:</p> <p>Manhattan School District #3 is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in regards to race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age, marital status, or disability. </p> <p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE:</p> <p>Complete a certified application which is available on the school website www.rollontigers.org/employment or in the Manhattan School District Office.
