If you are a hard-working, self-motivated team player, we invite you to explore a career with CME Associates.</p> <p>The Project Operations Analyst is a critical member of the Business Operations team, responsible for driving project excellence by partnering with Project Managers (PMs) and senior leadership. This role ensures that project reviews are conducted regularly and effectively, focusing on schedule adherence, forecasting accuracy, compliance, and operational insights. The Analyst will also play a key role in educating and enabling PMs to interpret and act on project data to drive performance and accountability.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead Monthly Project Reviews. </li></ul> <p>o Facilitate structured project review meetings with PMs and senior leaders, ensuring clear communication of schedule status, financial forecasts, risks, and required actions.</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and Forecast Project Performance </li></ul> <p>o Develop and maintain tools for forecasting project progress, revenue, and margin performance; highlight variances and trends across the project portfolio.</p> <ul> <li>Compliance and Controls </li></ul> <p>o Monitor and highlight data compliance with internal project setup, phase tracking, timecard submissions, and end-date management.</p> <ul> <li>PM Enablement and Training </li></ul> <p>o Highlight training opportunities for PMs and work with SVPs and VP of Business Operations to facilitate training when applicable.</p> <ul> <li>Data Interpretation and Insights </li></ul> <p>o Translate complex project data into executive-level insights, project level insights, and summaries that drive decision-making and accountability.</p> <ul> <li>Continuous Improvement </li></ul> <p>o Identify gaps in project execution or reporting and collaborate with Operations and Finance to refine tools, templates, and standard processes.</p> <p>Success Metrics</p> <ul> <li>% of project reviews completed monthly with full compliance </li><li>Improvement in forecasting accuracy across teams </li><li>Increase in PMs' operational literacy (measured through training feedback and behavior change) </li><li>Reduction in late end-date extensions, missed budget triggers, or compliance gaps </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's of Science Degree, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, Surveying, Construction Management, or other relevant job experience equivalent to these. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in project operations, financial analysis, or engineering consulting industry </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of cost estimation techniques and software. </li><li>High competency in KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for tracking project progress. </li><li>Proficient in Excel, project management systems (e.g., Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for team communication and updates. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>CME offers a competitive compensation package including: medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, educational assistance program and paid time off.</p>
