This is a full-time, 40 hours/week (M-F) salaried role with an annual salary of $78,000-$82,000 DOE.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <p>The Assistant Director of Finance will ensure sound financial management of agency funds through a combination of accounting responsibilities and leadership to the finance team. This position will work with the Director of Finance and CFO to support finance, business planning, budgeting, program and funding source compliance requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to Arc Core Values of Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment </li><li>Perform and support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries and general ledger maintenance. </li><li>Implement, maintain, and ensure compliance with sound business policies, internal controls, and accounting practices. </li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements for critical government and grant funding sources. </li><li>Coordinate and support the annual independent auditin collaboration with the Finance Director and Accounting Manager. </li><li>Ensure compliance with funder requirements and support the development and reporting for grants, renewals, and proposals. </li><li>Collaborate with department leaders to analyze financial performance, prepare dashboards, and reports to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership. </li><li>Manage or support staff in using financial software systems, ensuring effective functionality and training as needed. </li><li>Monitor data integrity and lead efforts to identify and implement process improvementsthat enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency. </li><li>Oversee the management and documentation of organizational credit card transactions in compliance with internal and external requirements. </li><li>Lead or support the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. </li><li>Support all St. Louis Arc diversity and disability inclusion practices/initiatives </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from us:</p> <p>We'll celebrate and empower your unique gifts and contributions.</p> <ul> <li>We'll help you help others.
