<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New England looking for an Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education to our Spiritual Care and Mission Integration team.</p> <p>The CPE Manager will be responsible for developing, organizing and administering the CPE programs at Saint Francis Hospital and Trinity Health Of New England.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Develops curriculum for ACPE-Accredited Levels IA, IB, IIA, IIB and Certified Educator Candidate training. </li><li>Organizes the admission and onboarding process for new CPE students. </li><li>Markets the CPE Programs and organizes, manages, and administers all educational/clinical events and opportunities relevant to the CPE Program. </li><li>Evaluates, develops, and manages the CPE Programs to maintain accreditation standards and regulations and address changes needed to remain in compliance </li><li>Develops educational presentations about Spiritual Care, chaplaincy skills and related topics. </li><li>Oversees the CPE Educator(s) and collaborates with the Director, Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), Director, Spiritual Care, local Mission Leader, chaplain colleagues, and other health system colleagues in the organizing of the CPE programs and supervision of CPE students. </li><li>Provides direct Spiritual Care services, as appropriate. </li><li>Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: undergraduate or graduate degrees from a college, university, or theological school accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHE) or the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) such as a degree in theology (e.g. M.Div.) or a related field (e.g. pastoral ministry, pastoral counseling, mission leadership). </li><li>Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the administration and management of an ACPE Center, including policy and curriculum development, business planning and implementation, and curriculum development </li><li>certification as a CPE Educator or Phase 2 CEC with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE); ordination or ministry licensure or endorsement by denomination or faith group. </li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively more responsible CPE/Spiritual Care experience within an acute care and/or related healthcare ministry. </li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years of faith group ministry and/or similar professional leadership preferred. An equivalent combination of experience may be considered. </li><li>Ecclesiastical endorsement as required for ACPE Educator certification. </li><li>Additional certification as a chaplain by a nationally recognized professional certifying agency is preferred, namely the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), Neshama (the National Association of Jewish Chaplains/NAJC), or the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). </li><li>Expertise in project leadership, process improvement, budgetary management as well as strong analytical skills.
