<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Cultivation Associate 4 is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across four different positions: Cultivation, Harvest, Curing, and Packaging. Cultivation Associate 4 must be able to seamlessly transition between various cultivation processes. The Cultivation Associate 4 is required to work a rotating schedule including but not limited to holidays and weekends and must be flexible in order to meet the production needs of the company.</p> <p>TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Should be available to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. </li><li>The grow rooms can be loud due to pumps, AC, ventilation fans, etc. </li><li>Will be in constant contact with plants and water/nutrient solutions. </li><li>Work can be stressful and may include dealing with equipment failure, temporary power loss, and other distracting issues. </li><li>Work can be tedious, and repetitious in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. </li><li>Work can become stressful due to meeting deadlines and quotas. </li><li>Work involves daily exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts and coconut oil. </li><li>Work is performed in a busy marijuana production facility including but not limited to grow rooms, drying rooms, curing rooms, and packaging rooms. </li></ul> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Adjust nutrient solutions that have fallen out of acceptable ppm and pH measurements. </li><li>All tasks otherwise assigned by Management. </li><li>Coordinates transfer of products to the inventory department at the close of the workday in conjunction with management. </li><li>Cuts down harvest-ready plants in grow room(s). </li><li>Deliver nutrient/fertilizer solution to plants in all grow rooms. </li><li>Employees will perform all cultivation department duties as assigned by management. </li><li>Identifies any undesirable plant anomalies including but not limited to pest infestation, microbial contamination, mold, or pollen/seed formation. </li><li>Implementation of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocol as assigned. </li><li>Install SCROG netting on flowering plants and train nodes into a screen. </li><li>Label products with barcodes using proper placement. </li><li>Lifting product boxes and moving them to their designated location. </li><li>Maintain accurate counts of all marijuana products and supplies. </li><li>Maintains a clean workspace including vacuuming and sweeping of dry/cure room. </li><li>Maintains a log of harvested plants including identifying barcode strain and room number. </li><li>Maintains chain of custody of plants from harvest to the beginning of the curing process. </li><li>Maintains environmental control of dry/cure room, including temperature and relative humidity. </li><li>Measure and weigh quantities of medicine. </li><li>Package medicine in a variety of tamper-proof containers. • Perform light maintenance on cultivation equipment and fixtures. </li><li>Perform regular pest scouting in all grow rooms to identify any pests, pathogens, or microbial concerns. </li><li>Perform rough and fine cuts of harvested plants. </li><li>Performs light maintenance on cultivation equipment and fixtures. • Prepare and mix fertilizer solutions for multiple plants/strains. </li><li>Propagate plants through the taking of cuttings from Donor plants to ensure continuity of genetics. </li><li>Report any equipment failures, issues, and problems to supervisor. </li><li>Take measurements of the Nutrient solution, including ppm, pH, and temperature </li><li>Transport harvested plants from the grow rooms to the dry/cure rooms. </li><li>Trim and train plants for optimal yield during the vegetative and flowering life cycle. </li><li>Trim plants both by hand, and mechanical trimming machine. </li><li>Utilize machinery for the separation of cannabis bud to achieve at minimum two quality levels, premium and standard. </li><li>Work Additional hours as needed. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, stretch, stand, or walk for long periods. </li><li>Must be able to endure extreme lighting conditions for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. </li><li>Must be able to sustain exposure to extreme noise for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to tolerate strong smells/odors for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to use scissors for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to withstand high heat and humidity for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to withstand coldness and dryness for extended periods of time. </li><li>Must be able to work with marijuana plants for up to ten hours a day. </li><li>Must be prepared to experience regular physical exposure to wet conditions. </li><li>Must be able to use a computer. </li><li>Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate trimmers, shears, instruments of measure, measuring cups, etc. </li><li>The normal range of hearing & eyesight is required (can be corrected) </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent required.
