<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant ready to make a difference in outpatient Family Medicine? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic care team! In this role, you'll be the first friendly face our patients see, playing a vital part in delivering high-quality care. You'll escort patients to exam rooms, take and document vital signs, update medical histories, and ensure accurate charting in the electronic medical record. Your role is key in supporting our providers and creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares exam and treatment rooms. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. </li><li>Obtains pertinent history, enters into the medical record including chief complaint, medical and surgical history, allergies, medications, and appropriate review of systems, and takes/documents patient vital signs. </li><li>Processes and files all lab/diagnostic test results, correspondence, clinical notes in patients' chart after they have been reviewed by the physician. </li><li>Coordinates patient flow in the office.
