<p>Staff Accountant</p> <p>Greenwood Village, CO</p> <p>Title: Staff?Accountant</p> <p>State: Colorado</p> <p>Reports to: Accounting?Manage</p> <p>Supervises: Single Contributor N/A</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Department: Accounting Department</p> <p>Revision/Creation Date: January 1, 2026</p> <p>Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000 Position Mission: As a?Staff?Accountant?at Alvarado Restaurant Nation, your primary responsibility is?assisting?in the preparation and maintenance?of?the company's financial records by performing routine accounting tasks such as?recording?journal entries,?bank reconciliations, and fulfilling the company's tax obligations. You will play a crucial role in the?month-end closing?process, account reconciliations, and continuous process improvement efforts.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and record journal entries?in accordance with?GAAP standards. </li><li>Assist?in ensuring?a timely?and precise month-end closing,?within the company's established deadlines. </li><li>Reconcile bank accounts. </li><li>Complete?balance sheet account reconciliations. </li><li>Resolve issues related to account reconciliations and outstanding matters by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and escalating when necessary. </li><li>Contribute to special projects as?required. </li><li>Perform other assigned duties as needed. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance?preferred (or equivalent?work?experience.) </li><li>Working?knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is preferred. </li><li>Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
