<p>Discover a more connected Procurement Manager career At VCI Construction, as a Procurement Manager, you will be in charge of providing cost-benefit analysis, negotiating prices, managing client expectations, and overseeing the entire supply chain process. What you'll do as a Procurement Manager: Establish an overall Procurement Department and strategy which identifies, prioritizes, evaluates, and manages procurement needs and opportunities. Assist in managing the daily operations of the Supply Chain Team and procurement staff on field projects. Provide coaching and mentoring for staff delegated authority to perform procurement functions. Perform procurement functions for goods and services for the Estimating Department. Maintain knowledge of Federal Import/Export regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulations and MSH's compliance with the regulations to coach/train staff and ensure compliance. Support the coordination of procurement-related meetings and training sessions. Assist in communicating updates and directives to the procurement team. Manage and oversee completion of tasks performed by Procurement staff. Lead business review meetings with all project procurement staff to review compliance and implement improvements and best practices. Develop compliance indicators for field project procurement. Track and report against performance. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and coordinate storage at Field Offices. Coordinate and report inventory levels with the Accounting Department. Build and maintain relationships with material and vendors. What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience 5+ years' experience in procurement required. Demonstrated experience with US Government acquisition management. Knowledge of global sourcing and procurement strategies, tactics, processes, procedures, and systems. Experience in development of policies and procedures In-depth knowledge of federal procurement regulations and USAID regulations Experience supervising staff Negotiation skills Adaptable, creative, collaborative and able to think strategically. Ability to lead in the face of complexity in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) Able to work under pressure, take initiative and manage and prioritize work independently.
