Interested candidates should apply to be considered.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>These are the job duties required of the position.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Trims and fertilizes trees and shrubs. </li><li>Mows and edges lawns. </li><li>Polices grounds and picks up trash and debris. </li><li>Waters plants as needed or directed. </li><li>Hoes, weeds and otherwise tends flower beds, gardens and lawns. </li><li>Collects, loads and hauls off trash. </li><li>May operate a tractor or other groundskeeping equipment, instruments and vehicles. </li><li>Digs and plants flowers, shrubs and trees. </li><li>May be responsible for performing groundskeeping and custodial duties in maintaining a small group of buildings and grounds. </li><li>Installs weed control fabrics and mulches. </li><li>Stakes and guys trees. </li><li>Removes debris. </li><li>Cleans trash and debris from storm inlets. </li><li>May apply chemicals to lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers and paved surfaces as required. </li><li>Performs solid waste collection campus-wide to include pick up of bagged, boxed and loose materials and transports by truck to dumpsters located throughout campus for unloading. </li><li>Assists in installation and repair of irrigation systems. </li><li>Operates power washer to clean sidewalks and other paved surfaces. </li><li>Regular and prompt attendance. </li><li>Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. </li><li>Related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Posting Information</p> <p>Number of Vacancies 1 Position End Date (if temporary) Job Open Date 02/11/2025 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Working Days Monday - Friday Working Hours 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Job Location Main Campus Full-time or Part-Time Full Time Regular or Temporary Regular</p>
