<p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>8am-5pm</p> <p>Responsible for performing all activities related to purchasing including but not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Daily purchase orders, Drop shipments & Rush orders </li><li>Addressing purchase order issues </li><li>Following up on unconfirmed purchase orders </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Distribution Purchasing</p> <ul> <li>Generate purchase orders for all new products by assigning vendors and pricing to sales orders using the Dynamics purchasing system. </li><li>Confirm purchase orders with price, part number and lead-time establishing consistent order follow up by contacting vendors to assure orders are being processed in a timely manner and meet required delivery dates. </li><li>Handle all discrepancies such as price, part numbers, and lead-times; adjust purchase orders and/or sales orders accordingly. </li><li>Assist in business system database clean up and ongoing maintenance </li><li>Assist in customer expedites when needed, vendor expedites and inquiries about purchases to Radwell by phone, email or through other means in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. Work with the expediting group to help resolve purchasing delivery to exceed customer expectations where needed. </li><li>Proactivity place purchase orders via websites. </li></ul> <p>FILING SYSTEM</p> <ul> <li>Our purchase orders are saved onto our database. We have to update confirmations daily on excel spreadsheet. </li></ul> <p>METRICS (Purchasing)</p> <ul> <li>This position needs to complete at least 25% of the daily purchase orders. </li></ul> <p>Duties may be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Ability to work at fast pace</p> <p>Attention to detail</p> <p>Problem solving abilities</p> <p>Basic computer skills</p> <p>Phone, Email etiquette</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED</p> <p>Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Internet, Phones, Fax</p> <p>Strong Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly</p> <p>Strong problem resolution and analysis skills</p> <p>Strong organizational skills</p> <p>Excellent attention to detail</p> <p>Excellent written and verbal communications</p> <p>Good time management skills; be able to multi-task</p> <p>Able to work at fast pace</p> <p>Work well in a team environment.</p> <p>Able to maintain confidential information.</p> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Associates degree or HS diploma, Bachelors' degree a plus</p> <p>One to Three years related customer service experience and/or training</p> <p>Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus</p> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>This is an office job and entails the physical demands associated with operating a telephone and computer (viewing monitor, keyboard, mouse) and filing.</p> <p>BONUS/COMMISSION PLANS</p> <p>Eligible for the Distribution Purchasing Monthly Commission Plan.</p> <p>Salary Range Information:</p> <p>The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$45,760-$55,483 annual base salary</p> <p>Required Skills</p>
