<p>Position Title: Shipping PIT Operator</p> <p>Pay Rate: Starting rate is $23.50/hour After 90 Days/Job Qualification Review pay increases to $25.60/hour</p> <p>Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months.</p> <p>Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Monday-Friday / Some Saturdays</p> <p>2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)</p> <p>Physical Location: St. Louis Container Plant</p> <p>1201 North Highway Drive</p> <p>Fenton, Missouri 63026</p> <p>The Job You Will Perform:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant, including PPE, ZES, PIT/PED safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Reading factory work orders and various shipping and/or receiving papers to learn customer requirements and process information.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring conveyors take off lines, removing units from the lines, and loading units into trailers and/or placing units in storage areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Checking load tags and unit counts to verify that they are correct.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspecting finished units during the loading process to ensure that they are free from handling damage and that the straps are intact.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately completing tally sheets to record units loaded into trailers.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining well organized paperwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Generating accurate bills of lading.</p> </li><li> <p>Delivering sheet and/or in process units to production areas as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining clean and organized work areas, storage areas, and aisles.</p> </li><li> <p>Sweeping and cleaning trailers such that only clean trailers are used for our products.</p> </li><li> <p>Taking and maintaining accurate inventories.</p> </li><li> <p>Performing receiving duties as needed; and</p> </li><li> <p>Performing other duties as assigned by supervision</p> </li></ul> <p>The Skills You Will Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrate success in safety, attendance & quality of work.</p> </li><li> <p>Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately use and read measuring devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of general computer operation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to learn; follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Applicants must be able to stand, walk and be able to reach at or below shoulder level; frequent twisting, bending and lifting from the ground; repetitive lifting.</p> </li></ul>
