<p>Job Description:</p> <p>ROSATI-KAIN ACADEMY</p> <p>JOB OPENING: PRINCIPAL</p> <p>POSITION START DATE: June 1, 2026 or as soon as possible</p> <p>PRINCIPAL</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY: Rosati-Kain Academy is seeking a Principal for the 2026-2027 school year. Reporting to President, position serves on the senior leadership team as the academic leader of faculty and students.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Mission: Through an innovative Catholic education, we cultivate the individuality, faith and talent of diverse young women who aspire to lead and serve the world.</p> <p>Innovative Curriculum and Instructional Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Directs innovative instructional leadership across all curricular and co-curricular programs </li><li>Inspires and mentors faculty's professional growth </li><li>Collaborates with faculty to establish curricular goals, provide culturally responsive teaching as well as experiential and transdisciplinary learning opportunities </li><li>Provides constant and clear communication and feedback to faculty, students, and families </li><li>Facilitates faculty discussions and workshops </li><li>Promotes collaboration among all faculty and staff to ensure academic excellence </li><li>Manages accreditation and reporting processes and all required data </li><li>Conducts faculty assessment processes, supports faculty well-being and morale </li><li>Continues tradition of academically rigorous college-preparatory curriculum while serving increasingly diverse student body </li></ul> <p>Description of additional responsibilities available here.</p> <p>Other Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manages day-to-day operations of school </li><li>Provides a visible, approachable, and professional presence in all school affairs </li><li>Has primary responsibility for communicating with students' families </li><li>Attends selected events on and off-campus </li><li>Oversees budgets and other financial/business responsibilities related to academics, extra-curricular activities and the student-experience </li><li>Assists in recruitment, retention, and hiring of diverse faculty and staff </li><li>Manages scheduling and calendar planning </li><li>Collaborates director of admissions and other administrators to recruit students who are academically prepared for RKA </li><li>Has primary responsibility for designing and implementing programs and policies related to school safety </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>strong work ethic and attention to detail </li><li>dynamic communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>deep appreciation for and commitment to improving diversity, equity, and inclusion strong ethical and moral compass combined with an appreciation for Catholicism </li><li>commitment to promoting Catholic education for girls in the city </li><li>at least 5 years of experience in education </li><li>graduate degree in education or related field </li></ul> <p>TO APPLY, PLEASE SUBMIT:</p> <ul> <li>CV / resume </li><li>Cover letter explaining interest in Rosati-Kain Academy and the position </li><li>Statement of vision for academic innovation (200 words) </li><li>Statement of commitment to growing spiritually and communally in anti-racism practices (200 words) </li><li>Statement of appreciation for charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph (200 words) </li><li>A list of 5 professional references including name, relationship, phone number, and email (contact will not be made without candidate's permission) </li></ul> <p>Send all materials to sboyd@rosati-kain.org using "Principal" in the subject.</p> <p>Rosati-Kain Academy will provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons and administer all aspects and conditions of employment without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, veteran or military status or any other status protected by existing state or federal law or regulations-except for positions that fall within the ministerial exception, including employees that "play a vital part in carrying out the mission of the Church."
