This is a non-exempt, full-time position reporting to the department manager.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, controls, and related equipment. </li><li>Able to use all HVAC-R hand tools required to complete the job. </li><li>Good communitive skills and coordination with authority, co-workers, contractors, and clients. </li><li>Enforce that work is being done in compliance with company protocol. </li><li>Produce detailed safety and incident reports as needed. </li><li>Read and interpret safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents. </li><li>Work extended hours when required for scheduling and/or job completion. </li><li>Work in varying weather conditions when required. </li><li>Follow written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies. </li><li>Able to lift 80 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder. </li><li>Handle exposure to dust, fumes, heights, and high noise levels. </li><li>Able to utilize company WO software to completion of projects. </li><li>Available to be on a rotating on-call schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends. </li><li>Able to handle high stress situations and frequent interruptions. </li><li>Use good reasoning and organizational skills. </li><li>Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences. </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work. </li><li>Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. </li><li>Perform any other duties as may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Experience/Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Valid chauffeur's driver's license and clean driving record. </li><li>HVAC/Refrigeration certification or 2+ years' experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC/Refrigeration. </li><li>Able to pass pre-employment 7-year background check. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Corrigan - Who We Are:</p> <p>Corrigan is an equal employment opportunity employer with a dedication to customer satisfaction and quality that is second to none.
