Four months after graduation I was contacted about an open position and am now working full time for Belmark."</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Responsible to assist in development and maintenance of the Learning Management System, Quality System, and Food Safety System (SQF) to internal requirements, third party standards and regulatory standards. This includes documentation review, Belmark University maintenance/auditing, and report generation. Secondary functions will include process improvement projects as assigned by the Quality Department.</p> <p>PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist in document current work practices in SOPs Management System. </li><li>Document future state training to assist implementation of equipment and technology. </li><li>Assign new and refresher training thru Belmark University. </li><li>Assist with hands-on training development. </li><li>Assist in management of Belmark University. </li><li>Manage SOPs Management System to confirm annual process reviews and feedback is completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements. </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED</p> <ul> <li>Student enrolled full time at an accredited university or technical college. Some applicable degrees include Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, Business Administration, Food Safety, Safety, or Packaging. </li><li>Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week. </li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. </li><li>Must be results oriented. </li><li>Requires extreme attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent problem solving skills must be demonstrated. </li><li>Ability to establish and work within tight guidelines. </li><li>Ability to operate a computer and understand various software programs. </li><li>Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language. </li><li>Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. </li><li>Ability to read, comprehend and follow implicit and explicit written and oral directions. </li><li>Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner. </li><li>Must exhibit ability to work with large and small groups of people. </li><li>Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment. </li><li>Ability to hear and talk for up to 90% of work time. </li><li>Ability to: stand for 25% of work time; walk for 25% of work time; and sit for 50% of work time. </li><li>Ability to: reach above shoulders 10% of work time; and lift up to 50 pounds for less than 15% of work time. </li><li>Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; and distinguish colors. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITION</p> <ul> <li>Normal office environment with some exposure to chemical odors. </li><li>May be some exposure to moving mechanical parts and noise. </li></ul>
