This role ensures equitable access to capital, facilitates loan processing and compliance, and collaborates with community partners to promote inclusive economic development. The Administrator plays a key role in advancing financial equity and supporting business sustainability in marginalized communities.</p> <p>Loan Fund Administration</p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day operations of the Equity Business Loan Fund. </li><li>Oversee loan application intake, review, and processing. </li><li>Ensure compliance with fund guidelines, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of loan disbursements, repayments, and client communications. </li></ul> <p>Client Support & Technical Assistance</p> <ul> <li>Provide guidance to applicants throughout the loan process. </li><li>Assist clients in preparing financial documentation and business plans. </li><li>Refer clients to business development resources and financial counseling as needed. </li><li>Monitor borrower progress and offer post-loan support. </li></ul> <p>Underwriting & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments of loan applications. </li><li>Collaborate with underwriting teams or committees to evaluate loan eligibility. </li><li>Recommend loan terms and conditions based on client capacity and fund policies. </li><li>Track portfolio performance and identify potential risks. </li></ul> <p>Community Relations</p> <ul> <li>Promote the loan fund through outreach events, workshops, and marketing campaigns. </li><li>Build relationships with community organizations, financial institutions, and local governments. </li><li>Advocate for equitable access to capital and inclusive lending practices. </li><li>Collect feedback from stakeholders to improve fund accessibility and impact. </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Prepare regular reports on fund performance, loan activity, and impact metrics. </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. </li><li>Support audits, evaluations, and funder reporting requirements. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all operations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Principles of community lending, small business finance, and economic development. </li><li>Loan underwriting, portfolio management, and compliance standards. </li><li>Barriers to capital access for underserved populations. Grant and fund management practices. </li><li>Strong financial analysis and documentation review skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. </li><li>Proficiency in loan management systems and financial software. </li><li>Project management and organizational skills. </li><li>Build trust with diverse communities and stakeholders. </li><li>Navigate complex regulatory and compliance environments. </li><li>Work independently and collaboratively across teams. </li><li>Adapt to changing program needs and priorities. </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. </li><li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in loan fund administration, financial services, or economic development. </li><li>Experience working with underserved communities and small businesses. </li><li>Familiarity with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Small Business Association (SBA) lending, or public-private funding initiatives is highly desirable. </li></ul> <p>Additional Considerations</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience in community development finance. </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions</p> <p>You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
