<ul> <li>Has 10+ years working in Aerospace, preferably directly for Pratt and Whitney. </li><li>Hand on experience in Performance analysis of Aircraft/Industrial gas turbine engine. </li><li>Ability to develop/perform aero/industrial gas turbine engine cycle analysis and engine matching using any commercial tools like NPSS etc. </li><li>Expertise in Performance analysis tools to perform Steady state and Transient Cycle analysis and data matching engine data. </li><li>Experience in engine performance and modeling analysis using NPSS. Perform Parametric modeling studies for conceptual/Preliminary design to PSRD requirements. </li><li>Perform engine test data analysis, including data reduction; component and system performance evaluation to understand T/O Margin and model updates leading to a data matched model. </li><li>Provide daily on-wing engine health monitoring and diagnostics services to air transport operators. Assist to troubleshoot engine operational and performance issues </li><li>Provide direct and timely feedback to customers on troubleshooting procedures and maintenance recommendations, and provide periodic fleet status reports </li><li>Conduct engine analytics tasks such as shop visit induction performance analysis, engine test performance assessment, trend analysis, and correlation studies relating test cell to on-wing performance </li><li>Engine systems stability analysis for operability </li><li>Work with customers to troubleshoot engine compliance issues and answer questions on engine performance </li><li>Strong communication, analytical, teaming skills, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment is required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Candidate should have achieved proficiency level 3 (PL3) or higher, as recognized by Pratt and Whitney, in the field of aerospace Structural Analysis </li><li>10+ years experience working with Pratt and Whitney Aerospace </li><li>Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in engine performance domain </li><li>Familiarity with cycle analysis of various thermodynamic cycles </li><li>Hands on experience with performance analysis tools (NPSS, Unigraph etc.) and basic to mid-level experience in programming languages like Python, Matlab, VBA etc. </li><li>An expert in structural analysis methods and theory </li><li>Ability to mentor others </li><li>Microsoft office - PowerPoint for Redline Creation and Outlook for requests </li><li>Experience with CAD software - Solidworks, UG/ NX </li><li>ANSYS software </li><li>Reading technical prints </li><li>Teamcenter </li><li>P&W ESW Application </li><li>Technical writing and documentation </li><li>GD&T </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration </li><li>Python coding or other coding languages </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>BS or greater in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering </li></ul> <p>Department: Transportation (NAM) Associate Positions: 1 Skills Required: Employee Performance Evaluations,Materials Properties,Performance Analysis,Mechanics,ANSYS Software,Parametric Modeling,Stress-Strain Analysis,Alternative Assessments,Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Location: East Hartford, Connecticut Desireable Skills: Employee Performance Evaluations,Materials Properties,Performance Analysis,Mechanics,ANSYS Software,Parametric Modeling,Stress-Strain Analysis,Alternative Assessments,Computer-Aided Design (CAD)Designation: AssociatePosted On: 24-Apr-2025</p>
